This policy applies to the Voice2Sub website and desktop app. We keep data collection limited to what is needed for downloads, payment transactions, service communication, security and website operation.
1. Local media processing
Voice2Sub is designed to process video and audio on your computer. The website does not require you to upload media files to create subtitles. Files imported into the desktop app stay on your device unless you choose to share them outside the app.
2. Information we may collect
- Email address: used to reply to messages, deliver app-related communication, send activation codes or identify a payment transaction.
- Payment and transaction data: handled by payment providers and banking services. Voice2Sub does not store card numbers.
- Download analytics: when you click a download link, we may record an anonymous event such as platform, page, locale, country code, referrer, timestamp, download build and version. These events may be stored in Google Forms/Sheets for internal analytics. We do not collect media files, local file names, local file paths, transcripts, subtitle text, or audio/video content through download analytics.
- Messages you send: if you contact us, we receive the information included in your message.
- Security and service data: payment-related pages may use services such as Firebase and Cloudflare Turnstile to verify requests, protect the service and monitor payment status.
- Local preferences: the website may store simple browser preferences, such as language suggestion state, on your device.
3. How we use information
We use this information to provide downloads, process payment transactions, deliver activation codes, prevent abuse, answer messages and maintain the website and app.
4. Third-party services
Payment, email, verification and infrastructure providers may process limited information needed to provide their services. Their own privacy terms may also apply.
5. Retention
We keep messages, service records and transaction records only as long as needed for operation, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling or legal requirements.
6. Your choices
You can choose not to make a payment, not to contact us or not to use the website language suggestion. You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion where applicable.
7. Changes
We may update this policy when the website, app or payment flow changes. The latest version will be posted on this page.
